Pre-School Programs

2011 Fall - 2012 Spring Preschool

Our Preschool provides a positive learning environment fostering the development of skills in various areas. Children will learn to share and play with others, express feelings and increase their ability to interact with both adults and other children. Emphasis is given to developing language skills. Children will develop vocabulary through stories, music, fingerplay and games. These programs are designed to aid the child in preparation for kindergarten. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.

TIME: 9:00-11:30 am
AGE: Must be 4 by Sept 1, 2011

FEE: $615 (must be paid by the first day of the semester)

PM PRESCHOOL

DAY: Monday through Thursday
Session 1: Sept 7, 2011-Jan 13, 2012
Session 2: Jan 16-May 17, 2012
TIME: 12:30 pm-3:00 pm
AGE: Must be 4 by Sept 1, 2011
LOCATION: Dee Park Recreation Center
FEE: $495 (must be paid by the first day of the semester)


Games & More NeW

Children are introduced to a wide range of games such as 'Sharks & Minnows', 'Mr. Fox', 'Poison Ivy', 'Ball Tag', 'Octopus', 'Wax Museum', 'Musical Cones' and many more. Children are exposed to fun and interactive games that use a wide variety of equipment such as hula hoops, jump ropes, scooters, bean bags and more.  The class focuses on developing motor skills and spatial awareness, self confidence, teamwork and good sportsmanship.  Registration Deadline is the Friday before class begins.

Tiny Tots Open Gym NeW

Open Gym will be available for parents and their children with use of park district equipment (i.e. balls, cones, hula hoops, etc.) We'll provide plenty of space for the kids to play, run and exercise.  Parents/guardians must stay with their child as their will be no supervision provided.  This open gym is a drop-in program.  Bring you neighbors and friends.

TIME: 9-11:30 am
AGE: 1-5 Years Old
LOCATION: Dee Park Recreation Center
FEE: $1 per child per visit.  Parents are free!


Over the Rainbow NeW

Kids will have fun learning their colors ans we learn each color of the rainbow.  We'll read stories, sing songs and enjoy art.  Child must be able to stay alone in class.  Registration Deadline is the Friday before class begins.
