2009-2010 'Kampus Kids' - Child Care
Before & After School
This child care program at Apollo, Mark Twain and Stevenson Schools encourages education as well as playtime! Homework is done after snack but before playtime. The program is available to children in grades K-6.

7:30-8:40 am $35 per 2 week session
3:15-6:00 pm $64 per 2 week session (This fee includes the additional child care hours (from 11:45 am-3:15 pm) on the school's 'School Improvement Day,' when children are dismissed early.)

An extended child care program is also provided afternoons for morning kindergartners attending Apollo, Mark Twain and Stevenson schools:

Here’s your chance to improve your basketball, volleyball, ping-pong. Bring your friends and start a pick up game in any of these areas.PROGRAM: 515

Tae Kwon Do
Children will learn many skills that put them in touch with their bodies. Building confidence, positive self-control, strength, discipline and the understanding of self-defense will be the focus of the instructors. All instructors are nationally or internationally certified. This is a year round activity. Participants may join at any time. SPECIALS FOR NEW MEMBERS: Free uniform with a 3 month sign up; or 2 months for the price of one month; or 2 students for the price of one students for one month. Any current student who brings in a new student will receive a free month.

'Mad Science' Chemistry 'Day Off Adventure' 
Participants will examine chemistry and the science of molecules and matter. We'll experiment with a powder that makes realistic snow...just like in the movies! We'll put our newly learned scientific knowledge to use to make super bouncy balls! We'll take home what we've made. All materials are included. Instructors provided by Mad Science of Northern Illinois.
